Living in Woodbridge VA

Living in Woodbridge VA by Claudia S. Nelson with Keller Williams Realty in Woodbridge VA

Woodbridge has so much to offer besides it's proximity to military bases such as Quantico, Fort Belvoir, The Pentagon and of course not to forget Washington DC. I have been living in Woodbridge VA since 2006 and I love what Woodbridge has to offer, including affordable Woodbridge VA Real Estate.

Woodbridge Parks and Recreation

Woodbridge VA residents enjoy many local parks such as Leesylvania State Park, Veteran Memorial Park and Lake Ridge Park and many more. Not to forget the Dale City Waterpark with all its attractions. Also all the outdoor pools and splash park in Lake Ridge. The Chin Recreational Center even offers an indoor pool and much more. Woodbridge offers Golf Courses including the Lake Ridge Golf Course and Old Hickory Golf Course. One of my favorite parks is Lake Ridge Marina with its boating ramp.

Woodbridge Shopping and Dining

Everyone knows about Potomac Mills in Woodbridge VA. However if you haven't been to Potomac Mills lately you be surprised at all the NEW stores at Potomac Mills, also all the new restaurants including the Cheesecake Factory and Bahama Breeze. The newest shopping mall in Woodbridge VA is Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center with its flagship store Wegmans. There is also an Apple Store at Stonebridge and my all time favorite the White House Black Market. At Stonebridge there are also many new and popular restaurants. There are apartments at Stonebridge or across the street at Potomac Club. If you are looking to live close to Stonebride and want to own a beautiful townhouse Potomac Club Woodbridge VA  is where you want to be.

Living in Woodbridge VA

As you can see Woodbridge VA has so much to offer including its proximity to the nations capital. Woodbridge VA is approximately 20 miles south of Washington DC and only a short commute to major employers such as the Federal Government or private companies in and around Washington DC.
