Earlier today I went to Wegmans in Woodbridge VA to buy some groceries and I came across the above sign. The Holiday Tree Lighting at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center will be happening on Black Friday at November 28 at 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

Apparently September 13 isn't just my mom's birthday or my friend Karin's birthday get together, September 13 this year is also the Fall Fest at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge VA. 

The Fall Fest at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center will be held at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center from 11 am to 6 pm on September 13. 2014. This will be a great event for everyone, with lots of performances, exhibitors and then all the shops at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center. Fun for young and old.

Happy Hour

So one of my latest obsessions is Happy Hour at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center. As of now I have not tried all the places but let me tell you there are some great happy hour places and they all have delicious drinks and food all at great happy hour prices. 

Not your Average Joe's
I love their Sangria's. At the moment they have watermelon sangria's and let me tell you they are so delicious, you can't even feel the alcohol. Okay since they are so delicious you definitely have to pace yourself and should also try the happy hour menu or the regular menu. On the happy hour menu my all time favorite are the crab cake sliders and the nachos. Not your Average Joe's Happy Hour starts at 5 pm and goes to 7 pm. 

Firebirds
Firebirds is another great happy hour spot in Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge VA. The happy hour at Firebirds starts 4 pm and ends at 6:30 pm. They also have a great drink and food menu. They also have delicious sliders and more on the happy hour menu and great cocktails. Great prices during happy hour. You should try it out. 

Uncle Julio's 
Uncle Julio's serves great frozen margaritas and then they serve The Swirl, which is a frozen margarita mixed with frozen sangria. Really good. I love that Uncle Julio's serves you chips with all your drinks. 

Once you have tried all the happy hour spots or all restaurants at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center the next spot you should go to is Toby Keith's. I am not a big country fan, but have to admit Toby Keith's was fun. I went there twice so far and both times we had a blast.

This morning I had the pleasure of visiting the ongoing Kid’s Musical Event held at the Stonebridge Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge VA. The featured act was Kidsinger Jim. He is a very friendly fellow with a lot of entertaining songs just right for little ones. The show was located under the big screen where there was plenty of shade to allow everyone to sit and dance without being bothered by the sun. A lot of families showed up. There was a good size group there pretty early with picnic blankets and portable chairs. Toward the end of the performance, the place was packed! So if you want a good seat in the shade get there early. Bonus, if you get there early, you have time to get yourself a little something from Starbucks! Yum. 

Kidsinger Jim has been performing his original songs for kids and families in the mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. for 20+ years with over 3,500 performances to date. The album he performed was entitled, “Love In That House.” It features songs titled “Eat Your Veggies,” “Don’t Be Afraid Of The Dark,” and “Get Outside and Play.” All the children were thrilled. They joined hands and jumped around as Kidsinger Jim made his way through the crowd. He and his guitar have a way to make children smile.

There is also the opportunity to meet other parents at these events at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center. Moms made up the majority of the adults there, but there were also some fathers and grandmothers who are watching their grandchildren for the summer. I met a mother of three who had brought her newest addition, only 2 weeks old, out to mingle. It was nice to be able to spend a little time with a group that had so much in common. I highly recommend this musical event. It is every Wednesday at the Stonebridge Potomac Town Center near the fountain and big screen at 10:00am. Hope to see you there one day!

Earlier today I was previewing homes in Potomac Club with a friend and afterwards we headed to Not your Average Joe's in Woodbridge VA at Potomac Town Center. They offer a great Happy Hour. Great drinks and food. I had their house margarita and my friend and I shared the nachos and slider. Together we spend only about $20.- for drinks and food. Not a bad value and the food and drinks were great. 

I will definitely go back to Not your Average Joe's in Woodbridge VA for their Happy Hour and also to have dinner there. Great Place. 

After Happy Hour we went for a walk and checked out some of the stores at Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge. There is so much to do there and it a great place to hang out and enjoy.
