Staging your Home for a successful sale

Staging your Home for a successful sale, by Claudia S. Nelson Woodbridge Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty in Woodbridge VA

Less is More
When selling your home less is more. Less and strategically placed furniture makes the rooms look bigger and the home shows nice. If you have big furniture you might want to think about renting a storage unit to accomplish the less is more principle.

Depersonalize
Remove personal items as much as possible. Personal pictures tend to distract buyers from the actual house.

Curb appeal
Think Curb appeal. What is the first thing a potential buyer will see when they come to your home? Curb appeal, make sure the grass is cut, invest into landscaping if necessary paint the front door.

Interior
Touch up or paint in neutral colors. Have carpets cleaned, caulk bathrooms, so some minor repairs.
