Leesylvania State Park
Leesylvania State Park is located along the historic Potomac River. Leesylvania State Park offers many activities on land and on water, including hiking, picnicking, fishing and boating. There is a fishing pier at Leesylvania State Park, playground, boat launch, boat storage area, snack bar and store, visitor center and a gift shop. Additionally Leesylvania State Park offers a 20-station fitness trail and canoe and kayak rentals.
Leesylvania State Park is located at 2001Daniel K. Ludwig Dr. Woodbridge VA 22191, this is right off Neabsco Rd. The Hours of Leesylvania State Park are from 6 am to 8:30 pm Monday through Friday and 5 am to 8:30 pm Saturday and Sunday.Make it a day and head to Leesylvania State Park with the family.

Veterans Memorial Park
The park is conveniently located close to Route 1 and includes a community center, an outdoor pool, skateboard facility, hiking trails, picnic area, playground, volleyball and tennis courts.
Veterans Memorial Park offers something for everyone year-round. The park is home to several sports leagues including Little League, swimming, soccer, football, basketball, baseball, softball and volleyball. There are even open gym days at the community center.
Veterans Memorial Park also offers a skate park which features a vertical ramp half-pipe, a 6,300 sq ft. concrete course and even a 60 ft. long kidney bowl for the more adventurers.Veterans Memorial Park also offers a 50-meter outdoor pool with a pretty cool two story slide. The admission fee for the outdoor pool starts at $ 4.00 for seniors $ 4.50 for young adults and $ 4.75 for adults.
Lake Ridge Park
Lake Ridge Park offers a 9-whole Golf Course, boating, hiking and so much more. There is a boat renting place, a shop, boat launch. There is also a nice picnic area with pavilions a playground there even is a mini-golf course. Truly something for everyone in the hart of Lake Ridge.

I love to go to Lake Ridge Park and feed the birds. I also love to just sitting on a bench at Lake RIdge Park enjoying some sun and relaxing. Each time I go to Lake Ridge Park I see people out and about enjoying this beautiful park.
