White House Value per Zillow

Yesterday while driving to work I listened to WTOP as always when in my car. Anyway, while I was stopped at a red light this story came on about the Value of the White House. With today being election day, I decided to actually look up the the White House, 1600 Pennsilvania Ave on Zillow.

According to Zillow the White House is NOT for sale, how ironic is that, living in a battle ground state and seeing all the political adds from both parties you would think it is for sale. It is also interesting that Zillow offers a link for anyone interested in similar homes! Just wondering what homes would be similar to the White House. When clicking the link it just gives you mostly condos for sale in NW DC.

Going back to the Value of the White House:

$ 286,362,328 (according to Zillow) WOW

They also break down the monthly mortgage payment and rent. With the interesting factor that the mortgage payment is much less expensive then the monthly rent. This fact does relate to most other homes in the Northern Viginia area. Take for example this townhouse I just sold to one of my investor clients here in Woodbridge VA, or this great Condo in Manassas Park VA close to the VRE.  Both homes generate POSITIVE cash flow, allowing the investors to making money.
