The long awaited Potomac Shores Golf Course opening is just around the corner. Today I went to Potomac Shores to tour model homes with a home buyer and also took some updated pictures of what has been going on in Potomac Shores.
I also ran into the manager of the Potomac Shores Golf Course and was told the Golf Course will officially open first weekend in May. I know local golfers have been waiting for the Potomac Shores Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course to open for quite some time and now the opening is just around the corner.
Potomac Shores has truly been a fast selling new homes community. Since they officially opened homes are being sold in record time. The long awaited debut of the Potomac Shores Golf Course is now just around the corner. They are putting the final touches on the elegant Georgian Style Clubhouse. The other day I also saw a job add for an executive Chef for the Potomac Shores Golf Clubhouse.
I know many local golfers are very much looking froward to the opening of this exciting 18-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.

Earlier this month I saw a post from Potomac Shores on Facebook stating that already over 50 families are scheduled to moving to Potomac Shores in Dumfries VA. I am sure these families are very much looking forward to the completion of their new home and to moving to Potomac Shores. They will be able to enjoy everything Potomac Shores has to offer. So exited for them.

I am very much looking forward to the Potomac Shores Town Center. They were talking about having a movie theater there, restaurants, shops and so much more. This will be a great addition to the Dumfries, Woodbridge area.

There is also a planned VRE stop for Potomac Shores and Potomac Shores Blvd is scheduled to be connected with Rt one at 234. I haven't seen the exact plan for this but a representative from SunCal the Potomac Shores developer, mentioned this at the last VIP event for Realtors.

Today I checked out the Ryan Model Homes in Potomac Shores. They are truly beautiful and very unique, something not seen in this are yet. Especially the one level living model is a great floor plan. WOW.
I will have more video's of the other model homes up soon but in the mean time the above one level living in Potomac Shores is beautiful. Of course the model home has all the bells and whistles with all the upgrades. I loved the openness of this particular floor plan.

The Potomac Shores Builders have made so much progress with their model homes.They will look beautiful for the grand opening of Potomac Shores on June 15.2013. I spoke with some of the builder representatives and they informed me that the pricing for the model homes will be released any day now. Purchasing a model home from a builder is an excellent opportunity for an investor. The builders will release the model homes for sale and then rent them back at or above market value from the investor. Talking about generating positive cash-flow, buying a model home from a builder is an excellent opportunity for investors. What a clever marketing strategy by the Potomac Shores developer and by the Potomac Shores Builders. Today they invited local Realtors to a VIP event to touring Potomac Shores in Dumfries VA. They picked us up at one location in Golf carts and drove us around in Potomac Shores while providing us with food and information about Potomac Shores Homes for sale and the Potomac Shores community. Most Realtors will go back to their office and inform their buyers of this beautiful new Golf Course Community after the event, some will even blog about Potomac Shores giving this community extra exposure. Excellent marketing strategy.
Besides the marketing strategy they gave us a very insightful tour of Potomac Shores. They showed us the beautiful Jack Nicklaus Golf Course, which is scheduled to officially open in April of 2014. They also showed us where the Golf Club House is build, where the new town center will be and where the VRE stop is planned. They also informed us of the planned marina that will be coming to Potomac Shores as well as two schools that will be coming to Potomac Shores. From talking to other Realtors I also learned that Tim's Rivershore a local favorite hangout place at the water is now part of Potomac Shores. How great is that. There will be access to the water for home owners or Potomac Shores visitors. There will be restaurants, hotels and businesses in the planed Potomac Shores Town Center. There will also be about 10 miles of walking trails.
