OMG Fall Back is Already coming up this weekend
I would have been perfectly happy to be oblivious to the fact that Fall Back is coming up this weekend. Earlier today I found out, or better I realized Fall Back is coming up on Sunday. Sunday we will have to change time and unfortunately it will get darker earlier.
Not a big fan of shorter days and especially not a fan of loosing time to showing homes. With the Fall Back it will be very hard to showing homes to buyers after they get off work. Showing homes in the dark isn't impossible but the buyers really don't get the full pictures. I always recommend that buyers actually see homes during the daytime so that they get the full picture of the home they are interested in purchasing and the surrounding area.
Losing the one hour has an impact on Real Estate Agents, especially when buyers have to commute back from Washington DC and most likely will not get back prior to the sun going down and it being dark.
If you are currently looking for a home make the best out of the next couple of days prior to the time change and after that try to arrange your schedule to viewing homes while it is still light outside.
