Currently there are is a limited inventory of homes for sale. There are several reasons for this:

• Another Townhouse in Old Bridge Estate, Woodbridge that was priced right, was a regular sale, in good condition also received multiple offers
• And last but not least a townhouse in Old Bridge Estate, Woodbridge that was priced on the very high end compared to rest of the market received two offers after only 5 days on market
• The same is going on all over Northern Virginia. I was showing homes in Alexandria and making an offer for my client and sure enough we were competing with other offers

Homes are selling quickly 

• Homes that are priced right will sell quickly 
• Buyers are competing against each other

So coming back to my original question is this a sellers market? Definitely yes. Homes that are priced right , in good condition and are in desirable locations will move quickly.
